Team Airion’s ACER™ is the only respirator with a granted US patent (US 9,155,923 B2) covering any and all wireless 2-way communication in a full-face respirator. In addition to the patented lightweight ACER™ design, our respirator incorporates Librestream’s Cube-EX Intrinsically Safe Dual HD video/thermal camera system with embedded LEDs, their OnSight augmented reality platform with AI computer vision, embedded I.S. certified hearing protection from Sensear and Google Glass for HUD visualization. In addition, ACER uses ionic fan-less thermal control to keep fuel tank maintainer's cool and is protected by functionalized nanocoatings for permanent anti-fog and a clear, self-cleaning wide field of view. Our ultra-light design incorporates the world's lightest, strongest material - boron nitride nanotubes (BNNT) - which provides additional thermal, mechanical, chemical and radiological protection for fuel tank maintainers.
